BY ELIANA JONSHON SEP 30 2026 ----------------------- Zohran Mamdani speaking at a May 11, 2021 rally to boycott, divest, and sanction Israel. New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani unveiled a strategy to combat antisemitism that was immediately denounced by major Jewish organizations, who said Mamdani’s own anti-Israel rhetoric is part of the problem his plan fails to confront, the Free Beacon’s Ira Stoll reports. The UJA-Federation of New York, the American Jewish Committee, the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York, and the New York Board of Rabbis issued a joint statement blasting the plan. “It fails to address a central issue that the mayor himself has perpetuated: rhetoric that demonizes and delegitimizes Israel inevitably leads to the targeting of Jewish New Yorkers,” the groups said. ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt was similarly critical. “Security grants do not substitute for moral clarity,” he said, arguing that Mamdani’s “actions or inactions only serve to help fuel antis...

by ELIANA JONSHON SEP 29 2026 ------------------------- Angie Nixon (Joe Raedle/Getty Images), Cafe Resistance (Free Beacon) Florida Democratic Senate nominee Angie Nixon raised more than $270,000 in tax-exempt funds in 2024 through a charity she said would support Cafe Resistance, her black power-themed bookstore and coffee shop. But Nixon ultimately placed the store under her for-profit LLC, failed to file the IRS disclosure that would detail how the charity spent its money, and reported to the state of Florida that $214,000 went toward unexplained “other” expenses, the Free Beacon’s Andrew Kerr and Thomas Catenacci report. The missing Form 990 was due in November 2025 and would have provided a thorough accounting of the charity’s spending and its relationship with Nixon’s for-profit Moxie Group LLC. Available state records show the charity spent just $14,000 on occupancy and $19,400 on contract workers in 2024, while the overwhelming majority of its spending fell into the catch-al...

HELLO JON Setting aside the editorial itself, there are underlying subtexts—stemming from assumptions versus the unspoken, potential contradictions, premeditation, strategies, politics, ignorance, ulterior motives, time-killing, patience, paranoia, stress, a "five minutes of fame" mentality, delirium tremens, and so on. The most obvious question is: if the situation within the American ethos bothers you so much, why do you keep living there? Of course, caught between opportunism and destitution, the "Land of Opportunity"—where one can make a fortune—is a welcome prospect. It is easy to rail against the system, given the two-faced nature of hypocrisy and ambivalence; where commitment, revealing one's true colors, or changing one's mind costs nothing—yet the burden falls solely on the taxpayer. They certainly aren't the first "avant-garde" types to drink Cola, visit Disney, or live in a gated community while seeking American citizenship. Well, th...

by JON LEVINE SEP 28 2026 ----------------- James Talarico and Alexis Bittar (alexis.bittar/Instagram) A radical socialist jeweler—who once dressed Michelle Obama and markets his jewelry with macabre dramatizations of a female serial killer—is set to host a big-dollar fundraiser for James Talarico and Sherrod Brown in New York City on Monday. The Texas and Ohio Democratic Senate hopefuls will appear with Dirty Grandpa star Robert De Niro and Showgirls star Gina Gershon at the soirée, which is scheduled at an undisclosed location in downtown Manhattan. Top tickets will go for $27,000 a pop. Listed first among the host committee is Alexis Bittar, a self-described “drug addict dropout“ who has made no secret of his far-left activism and contempt for the United States and its flag—a worldview less popular among Brown’s and Talarico’s red state voters than in far-left downtown Manhattan. “Hey people … it’s voting time!!! Bringing in all the Democrat Socialists!! Let’s change America,” h...

On the World Stage: President Trump Delivers a Defiant America First Address to the United Nations, Hosts a Historic State Visit with China’s President Xi Jinping, Signs a Historic Arctic Security Agreement, Secures Four G20 Energy Wins, and Proposes a $5,000 Dividend for Every American Adult This week, President Trump took the America First agenda to the world. In a commanding address to the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, the President told the world body plainly: “While others have talked, I have acted.” He detailed a record of ended wars, secured borders, and restored American strength — a powerful reminder that peace comes through strength, not empty words. Days later, the President and First Lady hosted a historic State Visit with President Xi Jinping and Madame Peng Liyuan of the People’s Republic of China. The visit advanced a fair and reciprocal relationship with China — putting American workers, farmers, and manufacturers first — and was capped by a Sta...

But city residents are angry, the Free Beacon’s Collin Anderson reports. Scranton resident Les Spindler repeatedly raised concerns at council meetings after the change. One neighbor told him her daughter was “almost hit head on,” while another warned that “somebody’s going to get killed there.” Spindler also questioned whether fire trucks and ambulances could navigate the new route. “I mean, my five-year-old grand...

HELLO ELIANA... Even if it’s repetitive—what about that side note regarding the hilarious editorial? We aren't going to uncover anything new here; allowing for the benefit of the doubt—be it a bad accountant, a careless advisor, protocol issues, and all the rest—including control systems for every area (audits or what have you), all amidst privileges, parliamentary immunity, the Constitution, amendments, and the occasional prosecutor acting ex officio, or other independent branches of government, NGOs, or a politician adding this to their platform... only to later forget, suffer memory lapses, or demagogically dodge answering in the face of any tacit, tangible, evident, or obvious evidence—will it all just go into recess? To avoid boring you: thanks for tuning in, and see you at the next scandal—where we’ll tackle other issues like homophobia, racism, religion, aliens, messiahs, fading philanthropists, idle millionaires, unemployed artists, and someone to tell us what to do, like G...

BY ELIANA JONSHON SEP 28 2026 -------------------- Angie Nixon (Joe Raedle/Getty Images) Florida’s Democratic Senate nominee, Angie Nixon, a dues-paying Democratic Socialist who has complained that it is “crazy” she has to pay back taxes and declared she won’t repay her student loans, was slapped with a criminal referral for omitting those debts from her Senate financial disclosure, the Free Beacon’s Andrew Kerr reports. Nixon told the state of Florida on Aug. 31 that she owes nearly $14,000 in unpaid taxes to the IRS and $17,600 in federal student loans. A disclosure she filed with the U.S. Senate on the same day omitted those debts, though federal law requires candidates to report liabilities exceeding $10,000. Nixon earned at least $270,000 from jobs and investments in 2025. The National Legal and Policy Center, a conservative ethics watchdog, referred Nixon to Attorney General Todd Blanche on Wednesday, arguing that her omission was “no mere oversight” but rather constituted a “k...

/// WEEKEND BY VIC MATUS SEP 27 2026 --------------- Sticking to the sociological, Jon Ronson is out with his latest book, The Castle: Adventures in a World of Unraveling Men. Nicholas Clairmont has a review. Like previous Ronson books such as The Psychopath Test, The Men Who Stare at Goats, and So You’ve Been Publicly Shamed—as well as recent podcasts produced with all the care of a full-on nonfiction book, like his excellent examination of all the things that happened because PornHub was created, The Butterfly Effect—The Castle is structured as a sort of investigation into an idea that begins to trouble Ronson about whether some small and previously unnoticed feature of reality actually explains a great deal. He takes you the reader along with him as he works out his own confusions and questions. None is resolved perfectly, but the curiosity is infectious, and it’s hard not to come away suspecting the answer is at least in the direction Ronson is headed in. “In this case, the issu...

HELLO MIKE A headline that is truly incisive and remarkable? This is no Game of Thrones or petty rivalry; it is a pressing reality that demands resolution. It involves dynamics rooted in the past—where reality outstrips even the wildest fictions concocted by self-styled geniuses and strategists—and a countless array of direct and indirect factors colliding with one another. Strangest of all, human agency plays no part in it; indeed, the consequences of human error—even the "minor" ones—seem to defy any apparent solution. Thus, quite literally, chance and fortuity hold providential sway. It becomes a game played by a single entity—one invisible to the overblown egos and supposed incompetence of illustrious, inept "visionaries" (some posing as messiahs or philanthropists). There is no need to name them; their absurdity is common knowledge, splashed across newspaper covers, magazines, and biopics—figures of ridicule that put comic-book characters to shame. Events coale...

BY MIKE WATSON SEP 26 2026 ------------------- Chinese president Xi Jinping and U.S. president Donald Trump (Kevin Dietsch/Getty Images) Summits between American and Chinese leaders often seem to mark turning points in international politics. In the 2013 meeting in the Sunnylands, the freshly installed Xi Jinping mollified Barack Obama by promising to stop his regime's hacking campaign. After breaking that promise, in 2016 Beijing denied Obama a staircase for Air Force One and forced him to exit “the ass of the plane” rather than get the normal red carpet. Last year’s showdown in Busan partly halted the trade war, and this year’s summit indicated that the uneasy truce will continue. Many see this détente as an indication of America’s growing weakness and China’s rising strength. Some even claim this summit marks China’s coming-out party as an equal to the United States in global power. Neither view is correct. Both nations have large vulnerabilities, and Trump and Xi used the sum...

BY IRA STOLL SEP 25 2026 --------------- The president of France, Emmanuel Macron, speaks to the U.N. General Assembly, September 22, 2026. (U.N. photo) Of all the speeches that hit the headlines during the U.N. General Assembly—President Trump’s, Iranian president Pezeshkian’s, Prime Minister Netanyahu’s, the Jordanian king’s—the one that was most stunning came from the president of France, Emmanuel Macron. There was a kerfuffle of press attention around Macron’s false claim that the Hamas terrorist group was not active in the West Bank. The American ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, set the record straight on that one. “Hard to imagine a more out of touch with reality speech than Macron at UN,” Huckabee said, reposting a response by an Israeli minister, Amichai Chikli. “Since 1990, Hamas has carried out more than 80 lethal terrorist attacks originating in or directed from Judea and Samaria, murdering more than 350 Israeli civilians,” Chikli said. The French anonymously claimed th...

??? ...!!! VS !!!...??? Believe it or not, the headline packs a punch—an initial sting of shock... does anything surprise or disgust us anymore, as human beings or animals? Globalization and barbarism... one could compile anthologies of this, each more appalling than the last in the annals of our sad humanity. The psychological analysis itself is a trauma born of sheer derangement. Even the translation of the headline creates confusion in the rush to understand: were the dogs raped, or are dogs the next sexual predators? I recall reading a story back in the 90s—I believe it happened in Sweden—about a farmer with a small dairy operation whose cows had been sexually assaulted one night. The police discovered the attacker was a bear. A touch of irony: thank goodness Rin Tin Tin and Lassie didn't live in this era—they were spared. And amidst this torrent of words on the program, is there room for Economy? Just mentioning all the awards bestowed upon Economy... are we "useful idiot...

New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof recently took to the stage at the Harvard Kennedy School to deliver what was supposed to be the Malcolm H. Wiener Lecture in International Political Economy. “It turned out to be not a lecture but a pathetic, apparently unprepared question-and-answer style performance by Kristof, who doubled down on his unverified fantasy that Israel is using a trained dog to rape Palestinian prisoners,” the Free Beacon’s Ira Stoll writes. Kristof said the dog rapes happened to “numerous” prisoners but couldn’t say how many. He sourced his claims to human rights groups that he said didn’t talk to each other before conceding that they do in fact talk to each other. He also said dog rape was employed by the Nazi war criminal Klaus Barbie, likening the tactics of the IDF to those of the SS. It’s unclear how much Kristof was paid for the...

What about law and public order? Consider the aftermath of 9/11 and the executive orders regarding acts of provocation, incitement to violence, and the like. There is an issue of impunity and negligence—seen in the judicial system's tacit lack of concern regarding *ex officio* action—when a single instance should suffice to trigger the application of the law for the sake of persuasion and deterrence *before* acts are consummated and avoidable tragedies occur. Furthermore, what about the enforcement of exemplary legal sanctions—rigorously applied—to put a stop to harassment and threats? Thank you for your time; let justice be done.

BY ELIANA JONSHON SEP 22 2026 ------------------------ Abdul El-Sayed has attempted to address concerns from Jewish voters with ads and videos touting “Jews for Abdul,” or simply by flashing images of “Jewish” (emphasis on the “ish”) supporters wearing yarmulkes in his political ads. We wanted to know who these Jews were. Well, they are left-wing “social justice” activists with ties to an anti-Israel group that excused Hamas’s Oct. 7 terror attack, arguing it was a result of “Israeli apartheid and occupation,” the Free Beacon’s Collin Anderson reports.
