Gavin Newsom, call your office: A group of Jewish parents sued the California education system in a first-of-its-kind civil rights complaint alleging that public schools across the Golden State have become hostile environments where Jewish students are segregated, harassed, and punished.

Maine Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner, who recently covered up a tattoo of a Nazi symbol on his chest, promoted an Iran-related social media post from a white supremacist who denies the Holocaust, Stew Peters. After Peters argued that “war with Iran” is the only issue that brings Democrats and Republicans together, Platner responded that “there’s one that brings Republican and Democratic politicians together: sending other people’s children to die in stupid wars in the Middle East.”

A “tax the Jews” chant erupted at an anti-capitalist protest in San Francisco organized by the local Democratic Socialists of America chapter. It targeted an event hosted by Jewish San Francisco mayor Daniel Lurie—the son of a rabbi—and protesters initially chanted “tax the rich” before at least one woman began yelling “tax the Israel” and “tax the Jews.”

Republicans are already out with an ad spotlighting the viral State of the Union moment in which Democrats declined to stand in agreement with Donald Trump’s statement that “the first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens.” The spot from conservative group American Sovereignty will run nationwide but particularly targets the Senate swing states of Michigan, North Carolina, and Georgia, according to Politico.

Weaponization? White House chief of staff Susie Wiles is “in shock” after federal investigators found that Joe Biden’s FBI obtained records of her and Trump FBI director Kash Patel’s phone records when Special Counsel Jack Smith was investigating Donald Trump. In Wiles’s case, the FBI “recorded a phone call between Wiles and her attorney,” and while her attorney “was aware that the call was being recorded, and consented to it,” Wiles “was not,” Reuters reported. Wiles’s attorney categorically denied that charge, suggesting the Biden FBI lied about the circumstances of the call.
