The department’s Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging offers the trainings to help supervisors and managers identify “subtle” slights that people experience in the workplace “due to their group identity,” according to the materials. An NYC Parks “Resource Guide for Leaders,” for example, features a “Becoming Anti-Racist” graphic “inspired by” “antiracist” huckster Ibram X. Kendi.
