Additional reading: Though America’s European allies—much to Trump’s displeasure—have been reluctant to show up in the Strait of Hormuz, the deep-pocketed United Arab Emirates “wants to force Hormuz open and is willing to join the fight,” according to the Wall Street Journal, which reported that the UAE “is lobbying for a United Nations Security Council resolution that would authorize such action” and has “urged the U.S. and military powers in Europe and Asia to form a coalition to open the strait by force.” A former security staffer for left-wing Democrat Abdul El-Sayed’s Senate campaign, Marine veteran Jordan Domingue, told the Michigan Enjoyer that El-Sayed is unfit for the Senate. “Antisemitism is now hidden behind calculated rhetoric, spoken by people who disguise themselves as partners of peace between Israel and Palestine,” Domingue said of El-Sayed, whom he described as a “chameleon.” “Personally, I regret and feel shame for excusing antisemitism and for not leaving sooner.” El-Sayed is also facing criticism from the Democratic group Third Way, which released a letter on Wednesday calling on El-Sayed to disclose whether he “aligns” with radical left-wing influencer Hasan Piker’s “most abhorrent views,” like Piker’s statement that “America deserved 9/11.” El-Sayed will campaign alongside Piker at a pair of rallies next week. Nevada Democratic congresswoman Susie Lee, who calls herself “America’s #1 Most Bipartisan Member of Congress,” wrote this in a 1 a.m. social media post addressing Trump’s trip to the Supreme Court hearing on birthright citizenship: “So fucking fucked up. I’ll pray they fuck him to his face.
