President Donald Trump said the Islamic Republic was—imagine this—”UNWILLING TO GIVE UP ITS NUCLEAR AMBITIONS.” As a result, Trump vowed to implement a U.S. blockade of ships entering and exiting Iranian ports—he said he would blockade the Strait of Hormuz but CENTCOM later clarified the operation is narrower—conduct a mine-clearing operation, and “BLOW TO HELL” anyone who fires at the United States while doing so. “Additionally and, at an appropriate moment, we are fully ‘LOCKED AND LOADED,’ and our Military will finish up the little that is left of Iran!” Trump said.
