He used the sizable platform—the festival draws hundreds of thousands of attendees and online views and is sponsored by the likes of Sam’s Club and Rivian—to say it’s “very racist to ask a Palestinian to condemn Hamas.” A contributor to the George Soros-funded liberal news organization Drop Site is defending the Hezbollah-linked terrorist attack against Temple Israel in Michigan. “Palestinian journalist” Abubaker Abed argued in a post on X that the attack—aimed at killing dozens of children—was self-defense because the synagogue and preschool supports pro-Israel charities. Gavin Newsom’s former chief of staff Dana Williamson officially left Newsom’s office in December 2024 as she faced a federal corruption investigation.
