WASHINGTON FREE BEACON: --------------------------- Additional reading: One day after Israel took out Iran’s security chief Ali Larijani and Basij commander Gholamreza Soleimani, the IDF launched another overnight strike, eliminating the Iranian intelligence minister, Esmaeil Khatib, who ran an agency that attempted assassinations against U.S. officials. It’s part of Israel’s “decapitation” strategy, which shows no signs of slowing down: Israeli defense minister Israel Katz said he’s authorized the IDF to “eliminate any senior Iranian official once the circle closes on them—without the need for additional approval.” The late left-wing labor hero and purported “civil rights icon” Cesar Chavez is now accused of grooming and sexually abusing underage women, according to a sprawling New York Times investigation, which found that a “handful” of Chavez’s relatives and union allies “have been aware for years about various allegations of sexual misconduct” but discouraged the alleged victims from speaking out in order to preserve Chavez’s “public image.” Chavez’s United Farm Workers says it will cancel all Cesar Chavez Day events in response, but it’s not that simple in California, where Cesar Chavez Day is codified in law as a state holiday. Qatar released a statement denouncing the Iranian regime for striking its primary natural gas production facility and causing “serious damage.” The attack, Qatar said, is a “flagrant violation of the state’s sovereignty” and proof that “the Iranian side persists in targeting it and neighboring countries, pursuing an irresponsible approach that undermines regional security and threatens international peace.” Funny to see that behavior land on Qatar’s doorstep. New York governor Kathy Hochul has a message for the wealthy individuals who have fled her state for low-tax alternatives like Florida: “I need people who are high net worth to support the generous social programs that we wanna have in our state.
