As a winter storm approached New York City, socialist mayor Zohran Mamdani urged residents to “earn some extra cash” by signing up as emergency snow shovelers. To do so, they must bring five forms of identification, including their social security card. Mamdani’s Democratic Socialists of America have deemed voter ID laws “racist.”

Ali Khamenei may be Iran’s supreme leader, but he hasn’t been running the country as nationwide protests threatened his regime. The Cuban security forces who have long protected Venezuelan regime officials have been leaving Venezuela as its interim president “faces intense pressure from Washington to unwind Latin America’s most consequential leftist alliance” in the wake of Nicolás Maduro’s arrest, Reuters reported.

The Israel Defense Forces killed at least eight Hezbollah terrorists in a strike on Hezbollah command centers in eastern Lebanon. The IDF said the terrorists were part of a “missile array” working “to accelerate readiness and force build-up processes, while planning fire toward the State of Israel.”
